Do I need my doctor to diagnose me before I meet with you?
A: Ideally yes, but it’s not absolutely necessary. Many digestive disorders share overlapping symptoms so it’s important for your doctor to assess your condition. Each digestive disorder has its own interventions, so an accurate diagnosis is essential before implementing interventions. Interventions may not not yield desired results without the right diagnosis.
Do you offer direct billing?
I provide a receipt for your appointment that you can submit to your provider. I do not do direct billing. Many insurance companies offer coverage for registered dietitians (including Canada Life) so check with your provider.
Do you see clients in-person?
