Hi, I'm Andrea...

. . . a Monash FODMAP trained dietitian based in Ottawa and your guide to a calmer gut. As an IBS sufferer myself, I’m driven to help people control their digestive symptoms and get off the gut health struggle bus.

What we eat plays a critical role in our health and well-being, so I use food to help people feel better.  But food isn’t the only tool in my toolbox.  Since irritable bowel syndrome is a complex condition influenced by many factors, I also help people add other evidence-based strategies into their lives to optimize symptom management. 

My little corner of the internet offers two paths to symptom control: 

1) Virtual one-on-one nutrition counselling, where I assess your situation and then together we devise a personalized plan for relief.  

2) This blog, where you use the information and resources I’ve provided to DIY your gut reset.
